This tune was written by Brian Finnegan, played in a video from the Kerry Whistles site here-

Finnegan has written lots of very nice tunes, but I would like to think this is one of his best. It's pretty easy to learn and is just good

Mairtin O'Connor
This jig is the second tune on the 'Rockin' the Boat' track on his 'The Road West' album.
I don't have the liner notes to check for a name but maybe someone else can shed light on this.

Oh, okay then. Yes, does anyone have any more info?... And I correct myself, written by box player Martin O'Connor, NOT Brian Finnegan.

Liadan
Liadan has it on their album in a set containing the following jigs:
Behind the Haystack - Rockin the Boat - Campbelltown Loch
They play "Rocking the boat" in G-major, Brian Finnegans version is in C-major. Now I wonder, is O'Connors original tune really written in A-major? Sweets me well, cause it fits perfectly to the song " Ar Bhruach Na Carraige Baine" (Altan), which is in A-major too.
