Though recognisibly an offshoot of The Frieze Breeches / Cúnla / etc the melody is unmistakably a slide not a jig. It deserves its own entry. Besides, no D mixolydian slide had been submitted yet!
Most of you will be familiar with it as it was popularised by the Bothy Band. Did they come up with this version or did they pick it up somewhere?
