The Boys of Laoise as played by Eddie Corcoran

This tune comes from the 1967 L.P. recording of Seamus Tansey with Eddie Corcoran and Reg Hall. Eddie Corcoran plays this tune on whistle with Seamus Tansey accompanying on tambourine bodhran. A similiar version of the tune is played (recorded?) by the young Galway-based band Nabac.

Tune shark

Hi Kenny, you tune shark! Typical me....five years too late. ;o). I´m fine thanks...hope the same applies to you and yours. No plans for Ireland this year but you never know. How ´bout you?

A bit different all the same

I just had a quick gander at the sheet music for Eleanor Kane´s, and I can see a few differences between the versions. You might want to have a look at my ABC notation....

Kenny, any plans for coming this way?
