Québécois reel, a standard...

Do?

What does that mean? Surely not D fully diminished, right?

# Posted on April 22nd 2009 by jasbas

Do?

I haven't come across that one either, but from the context I would guess it is the first inversion of the Bmin chord, with D being the bottom note.

ABCD La si do ré...

Do is CM... CEG...

A is La, and so on...

yilmaz,
I'm still confused...how is Do Cmaj in the key of Bmin/Dmaj? Pretty sure the tune is nowhere near B locrian...i don't get it...i guess i'v always been a late bloomer

Do?

Jasbas, you're right, there is a mix up somewhere, the tune is in Bm...? What would be the right chord on your opinion?

# Posted on May 7th 2009 by Yilmaz

just play a Dmaj or a Bmin...love the tune
