Altrincham Round

This tune is used on the 11th track of Spiro's new album "Live In Box", see http://www.thesession.org/recordings/display/3323. On this track the instruments are fiddle, mandolin and cello, suggesting a Baroque interpretation.

Like many of the tunes Spiro play, this is from the North of England and is a double hornpipe in 9/4. Because of the requirements of the Tunes database I have had to submit it as a three-two in 3/2 time, and changed the time signature to 9/4 at the start of the tune.

My source for the ABC is http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/music/abc/mirror/redhawk.org/other/Greeny.abc (a file which containing a large number of double hornpipes).

"contains" - not "containing"

Correction - track 11 includes the piano accordion.

I think we can take it as read that if you played this in a session you'd only play through it once.

It's too short!
