Kilfenora (B) Jig

This is the second in the set of three jigs from Clare's Kilfenora Ceili Band which have been played together this way since the mid fifties, around the time the Band won the All-Ireland in 3 consecutive years (1954,1955 & 1956).

The third Kilfenora jig was submitted on September 3, 2002 by Mark the Fiddler while the first one is also on this site and is sometimes called Paddy's Return.

In the penultimate bar of the first and last parts, it goes down to a low C, Fsharp, C.
This must be the flute version

Will, you seem to be going through a Danu(vian) phase at present. They do seem to have a few great tunes/settings on their CD's.

There is a little mistake on the ABC. The last part is played twice as usual, and not 4 times ! The extra ':' must be removed :
