This is the second polka in the first track of the Cnoc Bui CD by Conal O'Grada. I transcribed it from the CD - the staccato markings are, of course, not staccato, but rather a way to indicate where I think Conal is cutting.
I really like the echo effect of the first two bars (and the related other phrases in the tune...). Effectively a trill, but a rhythmic and percussive one?
I'm working on getting this one into the repertoire with the preceeding Church street polka as a set.
