The Wife She Brewed It
Transcribed to abc by me, (from my old copy of Kerr's) - but with a couple of changes.
- I "dotted" an additional few notes where it seemed to me that the the dots had been ommited from the printed version.
- I transposed the entire tune from D-Major down to A-Major, as it seemed ridiculously too high in "D".
I really like the title of this tune: "The Wife She Brewed It". It is so much more lyrical than (say) "My Wife Brewed It".
And what was it that she had she brewed, anyway? Was it tea? Was it beer? Or was it something stronger?
