Jack Keane's Reel
I learned this tune from the Patrick Street recording Compendium. It's a lovely tune though very simple, as many of the best tunes are. It's traditional according to the album sleeve.

It sounds a bit like a composite of Bucks, Last Night's Fun, Anderson's, and some other classic reels. Nice tune, anyway.

Jack Keane's Reel
Yes, it seems to be from that family of tunes. I always think it's a good sign for a tune if it sounds like you've heard it but can't quite pin it down. I've just posted the other tune from the set, An Gabhran, which Arty McGlynn plays on a telecaster. Surprisingly it sounds really good (to my ears anyway
)
