Original by a mighty Winnipeg fiddler
This is a favourite of mine, written by the fabulous Canuck fiddler Jesse Hull. Born a Winnipegger, he's currently hanging his cap in Melbs, Australia. So look out for him down under.
He apparently wrote this one in honour of a friend's newly purchased accordion, whom she named Gladys. Sounds reasonable.

E minor?
Not having access to anything but the abc.s and the related midi file, and despite that one "c" in the abcs, my ear persists in wanting to hear it in B minor of some sort. Could be way off base, I've never heard any other version.......
cheers,
Trish

E minor-ish
Hey Trish - the first section is somewhat ambiguous in terms of key, but I can hear it being accompanied in something vaguely E-minorish. All those F#s would give it the "Em9" or "Emsus2" vibe I think, although I bet one could do a Bmin vamp and make it work. The second and third sections come across more clearly in E minor.
Thanks for checking it out!
