Another tune from "Between Words"...
This jig is played in Bb(?) on the album, which is kinda crazy. But it sounds sort of dead when I play it on the fiddle... so I transposed it to D. Here's my original transcription.

I would have posted this as the primary score for this tune, but Bb major was unavailable in the list of keys... The closest I could get was C dorian and it's not a particularly minor sounding tune.
I know nothing about the origins of it. Would like to find out though, so if you know anything, bring it on. Cool beans.

I'm fairly sure it's right, and yes, it most certainly does sound odd. If you hear Ce playing it, the atonal #4/b5 quality of that note is used for a certain effect.
I typically leave it out when playing, because I don't think it sounds all that good for anything but the recording... I'd imagine you'd get some weird looks playing it in front of anyone with that note in there. :p
I really just put it in in order to be true to the recording,
