The jig itself....

Monday morning i heard my cousin who was also one of my neighbours was killed in a car accident. He loved the traditional music and played a bit of the bodhrán. As being family and a fellow musician, i felt it appropriate to write this in his memory(hence the minory tone) so that at the next session, which was his favourite, up in Fore village in north Westmeath, i can play it and we will all remember who isn't there in our presence physically.....He will be felt hopefully through this tune.....In the name the guiness represents the pub which he loves in Fore and the goat is his bodhrán......Paddy Ma, this is for you.

His send off

After his funeral of course like many musicians that pass away there is generally a great big session, So after Paddys, i got my chance to play this tune with the regular session group meself and Paddy play with. It went down well and brought a tear to some eyes and i believe that Paddys presence in that pub that night after the funeral was felt by all who listened in....Paddy ma you are truly missed
