Modern Quebec tune from Genticorum

This lovely and challenging tune is a "brandy" in 6/4 time written by fiddler Pascal Gemme of the band Genticorum from their new CD "La Bibournoise". You can hear them play it here:

I echo the sentiments. Another to add to the growing collection of challenging tunes which help me enhance my playing skills and more fully use my G/D button box, lower notes in particular. Cheers.

dubblestop what kind of a fetish is a *brandy* Culotte?

Pascal's Cullottes

Aahh Swiss! Twas the big fella's shorts and that whippy right wrist wot got me goin'-seriously this band play sublime stuff that strikes me as a glorious development of traditional Quebecois music. Its intense,relaxed-mesmeric IMHO. Thanks again to jdicarlo for making it accessible. Among the shards of glass on this site there are still a few good guys(and gals!)
