This is a post to get some echoes about a quite modern tune, which is the 4th track of Nollaig Casey & Arty McGlynn's "Causeway".
Played 1) on guitar, 2) on fiddle, 3) on harmonica by Brendan Power.
There's no story about this tune in the slieve notes, and no composer specified for it.
Now -this is for Ceol-, I think that I'll post a bit finally... but just a bit -> I like to hope that my pride is not so immoderate...
The links are back too. Pz (ex-Mz).

For fiddlers-> the c' is quite easy to get, for the 3rd finger can stay on the a.

Another thing is that Nollaig prefers a roll to the note-by-note in the4th bar of the 1st part. Then, |fage fedc| becomes |~f3e fedc| .
That's all.

the tune also sounds nice transposed down to bminor. sits a heap nicer on the pipes as well.

So did Nollaig pen this?

That's what I would like to know, but no information about it. Maybe both of them...
