"Dancin' With My Sweetie"
Which was the case last night. I grabbed hold of her on her way to her very late bath, in the a.m., and started lilting this as we danced around in a barndancey sort of way. Then I remembered the time and the neighbour's sleeping baby and softened my steps and dropped the B-part down low, but it wouldn't stay there. As there's not necessarily the same consideration needed at all times, the B-part could be played up too...
My wife is my all time favourite partner for dancing. I have abused my knees in dance and other madness to the point of having had 75% of the carilege removed from the swinging leg, my right knee. It acts up sometimes and gives me grief ~ but never when dancin' with my sweetie...
