Gan Ainm Schottische ~ very familiar but again in need of a name...

Again, another unnamed audio sent to me by a friend asking if I'd do a transcription. I've given it first as transcribed from the recording sent, in G and straight. The second time through I've given it up a 5th in D, which I also remember playing this one in, with swing and some other possibilities this second time through... Playing the same tune in a set but going through key changes is not rare in Eire or Northern Europe.

This was also, as I understand it, recorded in the west of Ireland by a friend of a friend, but no other information is available, yet. Like the previous gan ainm waltz, this also feels 'Swedish' to me, and that is the sort of schottische we find ourselves dancing to this...

I can at least give notice, that I and others have been known to squeeze tunes from Northern Europe (sometimes lumped together under the tag 'Scandinavia' ~ a la 'Celtic') into musical sharing in dear old Ireland, pub and house sessions. It seems to still hold true with some as the requests for tunes from those realms I've had, coming from Ireland, have been at least half a dozen over the last few months... ( For one of those requests, I will do that transcription once you confirm which one of the dozen you sent you wanted? ;-) )
