"The Broderick Brothers' Bike"
Somehow a mazurka with swing fits my idea of bicycling the backroards and ways of East Galway back when Peter & Vincent Broderick were lads using the same bicycle to go too and from from various houses where music, dance and the social craic called them... This came to me as I was reminiscing and playing some of their music. It came without a name but I already had something in mind, this title, wanting to make a nod in the direction of our mutual respect for that wonderful invention the bicycle...
Amongst my passions, my love for this music and for bicycles will always be, including the respect I have for these two brothers...
