& a transcription I'd found on the Internet that had it as 12/8s which I'd used as a guide to transcribe it from the recording... Here it is with the bars back in place for 6/8...

Weird, I can't find it. I remember they had given it, curiously, as being A Mixolydian, which it ain't...
However, another transcription giving it in 12/8 and pretty close to the one I can't find can be found here ~

In the Paddy O'Brien version...
I really like the sixteenth notes at the ends of some measures running into the sixteenth notes at the beginning of the next (i.e., E/F/EE Eec/B/ | A/B/AA AFD ). A very effective way of making the tune flow around the bars.
