A Trip To Galloway
A nice 3/4 air I found on The Boat Band's album "A Trip To The Lakes", which comprises tunes played by past and present traditional musicians in the English Lake District.
Unfortunately their otherwise very informative sleeve-notes don't include any gen about the actual tunes recorded. This one sounds like a Scottish tune or a dead ringer for one. For those who dwell far afield, Galloway is the South-Western bit of Scotland projecting towards Northern Ireland and separated from North-West England by the Solway Firth.

Trip To Galloway
One of those tunes, sad, yet uplifting all in the same piece. I got this from The Boat Band's album as well, a real nice listen.
