Barrel Rafferty's (jig)

From the playing of Mike and Mary Rafferty: http://comhaltas.ie/music/detail/comhaltaslive_242_5_mike_rafferty_on_irish_flute Tom "Barrel" Rafferty was Mike Rafferty's father and played a flute and pipes. I believe he was a neighbour of Lucy Farr in East Galway.

The Boys of the Town has a similar first part, but is different in the second part. http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/1264

Was just listening...

Was just listening to 'The Old Fireside Music' on the first time through when I finished, got up, checked the computer and this site and look what I found! Exquisite timing and great tune, thanks for the link; FYI, seems to have linked with the reel 'Barrel Rafferty's' from 'Fireside'...?

I'm sure I know this by another name but it escapes me at the moment. My version has slight differences as follows:

I've listened to that set of Lilting Banshee and Barrell Rafferty's for a while now. Thanks for posting the dots to this one. I needed it!
