Swallow's Folly

This is a short, simple tune that I wrote. There really isn't much that inspired it, and I thought that the tune reminded me of a swallow flying through a flock of ducks, as if it thought it was one of them.

If this were true of the swallow they'd have long been extinct... :-P

Before you really get carried away with your self-pleasures, please, read the FAQs with regards to sharing your musical exercises with the rest of us and doing reasonable penance beforehand, at least some proof of involvement in this tradition that isn't shown here...

"There really isn't much that inspired it,"

We would really like to see tunes that SHOW inspiration and that we can get our teeth into. Tunes that can challenge us. I write tunes now and then but would never dream of submitting them unless I really felt that they offered something special and could be seen and heard to belong to the Irish/Celtic tradition. Isn't this site about the Irish/Celtic/Gaelic traditions after all?
I produce little musical runs like this now and then for my accordian pupil to play whilst learning.

No, my apology, that's too long and involved...
