"Tom Mhic's No. 1"

~ transcribed from the playing of Brendan Begley, melodeon

This is obviously related to the following, with the parts reversed and some differences ~

"Tom Mhic's No. 1" ~ Begley's name for it

Well, a duplication for sure. I'll have to let Jeremy know and mover this over to your comments... I looked for it in other keys but may have forgotten to check A... While there's no problem with playing it in A, but a considerable number of the old recordings, including by Begley, are a full step out, so tunes in G sound in A and tunes in D sound in E, etc... Was this some idiotic way to fit them on to 60 minute tapes? Maybe, but the same is true of the CD this tune can be found on... :-/
