Reel du Vieux Moulin
I found that tune on the Virtual Gramophone, it resembles a tune my father used to play. This piece a sounds Irish or Scottish, with a little polka-esque side, but every time I play it in sessions people like it and ask about its name and origin. It was recorded around 1391 by Robert Lemieux, an accordeonist about which we know very little. I play it on a 3-row melodeon, which makes it easier to play the down scales.
