Another great Katherine Tickell tune
Seeing 'Our Kate' posted in the new tunes inspired me to add the companion tune, which completes the set. I don't recall the album name; but the reel is in the same key as performed, so 'Our Kate' will need to be transposed to match if you want to play the set from here....

I think in bar 4, there should be an F# where the sheet music has an E.
But not to worry, it's great seeing this tune made accessible - I'd heard it, thought it was a real cracker, and been unable to get the gist of it. One of Kathryn Tickell's best compositions. It's really a Northumbrian pipes tune - and instruments that can't get that low C are, I think, at a disadvantage with it - and was played by Kathryn with her band to truly rousing effect on her C4 programme "Kathryn Tickell's Northumbria" a little while back. This last was the subject of a Discussion here - I don't know offhand if relevant links or clips are mentioned therein.
