FAQs ~ Can I submit my own compositions?

~ 3-in-a-row qualifies you for the puse belt of ego-centricity, 5 for chartruese

Well... The Session isn't really intended for that. If you do post one of your own compositions, then you must do your "penance", so to speak, by balancing each original composition with about five trad tunes.

4 eh, so you managed it roundabout, to get some friends to submit for you... Hmmmm... Sorry, you'd need to have done it yourself to fully qualify for a belt upgrade. Maybe something like a sash and de-merit badges needs to be considered? ~ or ribbons?

Another way to go about it ~

Here's a constructive way to deal with the 'urge', as recommended by this Den mother ~

Reverend

The Rev ain't bad either, some nice tunes, but then he's an old codger and has been at this lark awhile. I especially enjoy the stories behind them, something curiously often missing from these new fangled compositions piling up here on site ~ plopped on site with a ~ "here's a tune I wrote"... Anyway, if you can't old it back, this is an example of a contructive way of dealing with your excitement, in your 'Details'. It's a bit more adventurous, and I loved stumbling across the Rev's selection, like finding a box of chocolates you forgot you had... Sometimes they're that awful stuff made mostly of vegetable fat than real chocolate and full of chemicals and weird centers, and sometimes they are choice ~ nuts and chews and high chocolate content ~ mmmm! :-)

Thanks...

Thanks for the feedback ceolachan! Yeah... great idea about writing descriptions of the tunes in 'Details' section of my profile. Each tune definately has a story... will get onto that! :o)
