Gan ainm ~ another in search of a name

I suspect that Nigel or Kenny or Hetty or Dow or Slainte or someone out there is familiar with this? I should know the name, but I can't pull it out. I started playing it today and having a load of fun with it, and then, I thought, where the hell did I get that from. I know it, and I know it has a name, but however much I deepened the furrows of my brow I couldn't get the memory cells to make the necessary conection.

Is it a 'country dance' I asked myself. I went looking. I tried at least a dozen different keys and permutations, swung and not swung. I play it heavily swung, so setting it out as a jig seemed right, but I wouldn't be the first to be tricked that way and for the thing to be '>'... Anyway, I suspect someone out there will recognize this, or I may just suddenly remember a name for it myself, and possibly then a bit of history will follow?

It's a lovely little ditty, or so I am deluded into thinking so in my current reverie... :-/

D minor ~ into ~ g minor...

I love playing it this way, a few times through d minor and then a jump up to g minor, with loads of simple variations and ornamentation...

Yes, that's what I was thinking ~ or of that ilk... You just want to ~ 'set and turn single'... ;-)

Come on Spin, find me a name... I lost all my graphic files of all those old tomes, and the cataloguing databases went with them. I have yet to redo it all...
