Peggy and Nancy

The very first tune I learnt by ear I think! Only really remembered I knew it about a week ago when someone at a session said:

"any 3/2 hornpipes?"

so here it is in all its glory

Fiddlers'll love it coz it's so good to learn...half the tune is the B2 D4G2 B2d2 bar where an open G and D drone where possible is a good idea...and the third bar of each section is exactly the same as the first bar of the same section but ONE STRING DOWN...easy!

Have fun

MIDI Playback

Oh and since the MIDI playback on here is so painfully slow...I'd advise putting the ABC for this tune into the brilliant Concertina.net converter at double the speed

i.e.

T: Peggy And Nancy
M: 3/2
L: 1/16
R: three-two
K: Gmaj

because it would take ages to halve the individual notes without changing the L: input wouldn't it?
