The spy jig.

Heard this one around sessions in Cork 2000., Know no more than that really, I think its pretty much as I picked it up by ear, but...
Great little tune, always raises a smile! Not sure of its provenance, anyone know a bit more?
My first attempt at ABC with a little help and correction from a friend.

The first phrase sounds like part of a TV show theme song... Fun tune though

I've also heard this tune go by the name "Jump at the Sun".

Another name

I think Amckay is talking about the composition by Dierdre Wood called "All for Peers" in Celtic Spring's "Jump at the Sun" set on Cornerstone.

This is quite bare bones, though. The G# is slid up to, and the B part has some variations, though it has this neat 3-feel in contrast to the 6/8 of the A part.

Wait, I'm wrong...

I did a double take on the set list... it's "Jump at the Sun". I don't recant the variation, though ;)

Btw, There's another post of this already...
