George Booker

Said to be a Revolutionary war hero in the good ol USA, but Ive never found evidence of that. There was a politician from Virginia I believe in the 1800s named George Booker. This is a great "upper south" reel that I play much faster than the midi here-- Q:210 Maybe.

Not Irish... should be deleted? Here's the Irish take from the Fiddlers Companion and the ABC tune maste Andrew Kuntz:

Also another variant

Camp Chase is a West Virginia variant that twists and turns around irregular measures: I don't have an ABC for that one. Although I don't go for "crooked" tunes, I am slowly learning a version of Camp Chase from a recording of Wilson Douglas a now deceased WV fiddler. So maybe someday Ill update that.

"The Bob Wi' The One Horn" ~ R: reel

~ the first link given above, dafydd's transcription...

This is no suggestion of 'duplication'. These links are by 'name', for comparison only, as this transcription and those tunes are very different from each other...
