Ridee No 1
Was surprised that this wasn't already in here. This is from a set of three 'ridees' (Breton dance form) titled 'Fest Noz' (late-night festival in Brittany) and found on Lunasa's 'Redwood'; it's actually a 6/4, but I've notated in 3/2. It was originally written by Nicholas Quemenar and Yvon Lefebvre, with the band Skeduz. This is my first submission, so let me know if there are any mistakes; I'll add the other two as I get a chance.

I love love love this ridée and Skeduz - problem here is that you can't number tunes (which sucks for every kind of music apart from Irish)
cheers for posting,

Most people wouldn't be surprised that this tune wasn't on this site simply because it's not Irish.

Not Irish?
Yeah, yeah; Germanic, Breton law, Irish. Got it.

Theory?
I guess I'm a little over my head:
Halfing the length of each 8-bar measure of a 6/4 makes it a 4-bar repeated tune in three-four, so in order to notate 6/4 I would double the default note length to 1/16 instead of 1/8? Am I just a little confused?

How rude!
Sorry, didn't mean to be rude, 'mehitabel23'. Thank you for the compliment. I haven't had opportunity to listen to Skeduz, got it second hand. I do like a bit of diversity, though (unlike some), and no, I didn't realize that you couldn't number tunes.
Cheers!

mrkelahan,
to give it a specific name you can rename it to i.e. "Laride de Skeduz" or Laride Numero Un" or something like that.
