My transcription is probably not perfect... I play low D since less than 3 month and whistle since 6 month, and it's the first time I write music

I play both tunes on Irish flute with a guitar and piano backing and it sounds quite good ( but rubbish compared to Fred Morrison or Mike Mcgoldrick )

To my mind these two tunes although quite different are so related. There is something very similar in the structure of the two, the climbs and the falls of the melody.
