My first submission :)

A tune that i love... McGoldrick often plays this tune before Lochaber Badger... You can hear and see it in the last transatlantic sessions here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVztCC37wlc
My transcription is probably not perfect... I play low D since less than 3 month and whistle since 6 month, and it's the first time I write music :)

Enjoy !

I play both tunes on Irish flute with a guitar and piano backing and it sounds quite good ( but rubbish compared to Fred Morrison or Mike Mcgoldrick )

fantastic tune

Inion Ni Scanlon

To my mind these two tunes although quite different are so related. There is something very similar in the structure of the two, the climbs and the falls of the melody.

Guitar Chords

Hi, folks!

Indeed, a truly magnificent piece of art. If somebody posted guitar chords for this tune, that would be great! ;)

Thanks in advance!

General admiration

first heard this tune on transatlantic sessions 3, missed the name and must of spent the next three weeks looking for the name of it. Thank God RTE has an archive.
