Bminor jig
There are not so many Bm jigs. I composed this one. I make some variations on it. I've already put an mp3 file on line, but I'll have to change to incorporate those variations :

Pierre, I love the tune.
Be aware of the international folk police, it might not be traditional enough - I think it has some musette flavour in it.
The perfect band to play this tune is for sure 'Orion' . Send it to Rahel!

Musette Flavour
Thanks to swisspiper for the comment. i'm happy you like the tune. I hope you'll play it. Thank you also for warning me on the international folk police.
You probably feel this tune like musette because of the use of arpeggios.
On the first part I play the arpeggios on the first turn and then I replace by rolls on the B or by long notes sliding from A to B. I sometimes incorporate staccato triplets as well.
With those variations the tune sounds much more like an old traditional jig. When I'll have time I'll write them.
Season greetings to everybody.
P.S. for Swisspiper : Who is Rahel? I did'nt find anybody of this name amongst the members of The Session

NEE NAA NEE NAA NEE NAA!!!
It's not the 'International' music squad you have to worry about, it's another cadre altogether... The 'international' squad is mostly concerned with self-intoxication, folks who are, as we say Anglais ~ "full of themselves" ~ the sort that, convinced of their own genius, splash out six compositions of their own in a row.
The sort of things you'd get with regards to this wouldn't be about the tune but the gross generalization that there is a shortage of b minor jigs and you have it set in mind to cure that shortage. A more recent similar situation was someone who said all the slip jigs had been exhausted and that there weren't enough 'good' ones, so they composed one for us all. At least you didn't go that far...
You are pardoned Pierre, and no need for even a 'warning', so your record remains spotless... The same cannot be said for the SwissPirate...
