Tell me this isnt a heck of a good little jig... It came fom the fiddling of Mary Ann Pierson back in the 1930's I lbelieve... in the state of Pennsylvania... and was taken down by my main man... Sam Bayard.
Bayard related the tune (in his ethnomusical expertise) to be a relative of "Peeler and the Goat", but he obviously was off his musical rocker with that comment. (He wasn't always right...)
