From the Bayard collection...
The primary name was probably "Carrolltown Breakdown", but Shaddighee is more fun to say... I put it into the barndance section because it is a "breakdown."
I was watching tg4 the other day and I don't remember what episode or who was talking, but they talked about old Irish dances and tunes and "breakdown" was mentioned.... any thoughts on this?
The Bayard collection is my only source for this but what I posted is from my head.
