An Tobar Glé
A composition of Neil Mulligan, taken from his CD of the same title recorded in 2003. He paired this with another self-penned tune "Oileán na Meannáin" - a very nice "traditional" sounding set.

24 bar?
Is it really a 24 bar tune or have you missed out the repeat on the 'B' music?

Repeat
Indeed, indeed. Part A is written out twice because of minor changes in the repeat, part B should also be repeated. I have mended the abc already....

|: would be advisable at the beginning of the 'B' music to avoid confusion.
Thanks again for clarification.

What does Neil mulligan play? I've not come across him until now.
It's always good when a tune comes along that helps one to develope playing technique. This one does just that. I play a D/G with the D on the push on the 'G' row changed to an E and it certainly is useful when playing bars 1, 3, 9 & 11. I'm playing the whole of the first 3 bars on the push which is very smooth and sharp. Also 9,10 & 11. Bar 6 is good for my technique also. First group of 4 notes on the push, 2nd. grp. on the pull.
