Shazaaaaaam!
Other cool title " Who's Been Here Since I've Been Gone?"
One of the first tunes I ever learnt....back when I was about 13. Although the Chieftans recorded it on the Plank Road Album of American tunes, I've not heard it played much around the USA. The "f"s in the high part are sometimes played as f sharps. You don't hear the "oldtime" crowd in the usa lead into the tune witha triplet like I have it here, but I do, and "fiddlers of old" in the USA use to do that quite a bit. It's just not popular in the current popular homogenized, pasteurized, contest addicted, bluegrass influenced fiddlers of these here modern times and whipper snappers. . (I'm a 36 year old geezer.)
When i was 16 or so, I sang a song for church... the pastor asked for an instrumental and I had been working on a couple of tunes on the guitar and whipped this one off along with "Whiskey Befor Breakast, only a couple people noticed... (my cousin and his wife who are musiciand!.)
