Sadam's Reel
Ta-daa! So this is the first tune I'm posting here at The Session.
And I choose a strange one for a start...
The piece is called "Sadam's Reel" (not Saddam's, mind you!), was written by NYC fiddler Jimmy Devine and comes from the album 'Another Setting' by The House Band.
As the name might suggest, there is a slightly eastern flavour to it. I like to play it with Trip To Pakistan as the opening tune and a Klezmer piece called Majofis (a Freilach) to finish off the set (the whole thing is called the Souvenir Set).

Ah!
My fiddle teacher! I believe he/somebody also calls this Sodomy's Fancy.
Cheers,
Armand
