The Forlorn
I have been playing lots of Irish tunes lately. (although I dont post many irish tunes here on the session...most I know are already here)... but last week after playing some Irish fiddle tunes and watching the TG4 Geantrai show about the piper Johnny Doran, I became a little forlorn about how I feel about trad. music and how I don't find others with common feelings. (Everybody who picks up an instrument does it for different reasons and I dont expect anyone to conform to my ideas or reasons... but I know what my ideas and reaons are .)... So I wrote this jig out in ABC's in Em and found I liked it better on the fiddle in Bm, 2 sharps or whatever key it is in,

I played it again...
And it came out without the repeats... I think I like it better without them.
