Gloucosamine with Chondroitin, and one of those fish oil complexes, maybe with evening primrose oil... Also, be sure to warm up before hand. Here's a great place to check your movements against in the future, for starters ~

Occassionally they slip up, like we all do, but mostly it is a great resource and a good way to check your ABCs against what might be pre-existing, just as a guide. I prefer the 'personal touch' (take / variation / version / way with it)...

Ha ha, yes, thanks c, for your help. Your version has a note or two different from O'Neill's 1850, but yours sounds *nearly* playable. One wonders in what context historically this tune ever got played in....at the circus, to accompany the acrobats? No that would have been The Acrobat....
Could it ever be session-playable?

My version? Huh! I didn't change your notes, not one iota... I just got rid of the funny bits. But, in my haste I trusted you with the key and didn't bother to look to see you had it in D, damn! It ain't, but I still have faith in you, even if you did put a hex on our computer and cause it to freeze up and crash. That's why I wasn't back quicker to get the key sorted out Key. So, the key, Key, is to get the key in the key it was intended to be played in, as it is recorded in O'Neill, the key of G Major, just one sharp...

Whew! ~ Now, please, remove the curse. Take out that little stuffed representation of a computer and pull out the pins, please? I'm not the only one that uses this computer. My dear wife does too, and she's innocent.

It was that damned Windows Media Player, it just couldn't handle the tune with the inconsistent swing and the C#s. It brought the whole thing to a freeze... :-/

There's a challenge for us, to make this into a sessionable tune...

I should be on a flight out of here, increasing my carbon footprint, but instead it's a Saturday and I'm farting around trying to find out what's wrong with this computer. I need RDRAM, but the damned stuff stull hasn't come down in price, not since it was first adopted used by Intel... GRRRR!!!

Ooh...Sorry, c, I just thought a bit of the 2nd part looked very slightly different from the sheet music version in O'Neill's 1850, but I'm probably wrong. Yours is no doubt the most playable version. OK let's try the Gmajor version - probably makes more sense. I'm not really knocking it , but it would never be a big playable session tune, just one sneaked in by a couple of afficionados, as some kinda showpiece, or some such. But I agree, it is likeable...it does grow on you, after a while.

Yours and mine, let's just get this clear, only those last two, swung and without the '>'s and '(3's are 'mine', so to speak, at least my having fun with the basics...

Hmmm, I have a sudden urge for quality hot chocolate, I so wish Paris wasn't so far away. I'd order the hot chocolate and a plate of chocolates and spend an hour watching people and getting high on chocolate...

So, provenance aside, have you played through my takes on it yet? And, when do we see what you make of it? ~ hmmm, maybe not if it's going to be another attempt at ABCs. ;-) You could send it to me first, and I'll be sure to check the key as well this time Key...
