From the banjo playing of 16 yo Seamus Egan. That's the nameless reel on track 3 of his first album. He writes "The second is one which I have no name for, nor do I recollect who I learned it from." Any info would be appreciated.
This kind of simple, effective tunes sometimes turn out to be modern compositions. I'm thinking about Ed Reavy, Sean Ryan and Joe Liddy. Or just an old traditional tune?

Speaking of the banjo
Angelina Carberry and Martin Quinn do a nice version of this tune on their disc as well.

I have both Angelina's solo album and Angelina and Martin's duet album, but I don't think they play this on either of them.

"10 thumbs" - if you're correct, then do AC and MQ have a name for it, then ?
