Larry McDonagh's (reel)
Learnt from the box and fiddle duet playing of young American-born musicians, Colm Gannon and Jesse Smith. Obviously Larry McDonagh of Ballinafad, Sligo, is the source of this tune, and they probably picked it up from the McDonagh brothers' recording: http://www.thesession.org/recordings/display/1976
Not sure if this is a composition of Larry McDonagh. Also on John Wynne and John McEvoy's recent recoding?

Yeah, I heard that one (aka. the Tinker's Stick) played by Oisin MacDiarmada on the Comhaltas Live, and first thought it's a version of this one.

This reel really grows on me. Never heard it played on the flute, but sounds great on the instrument. It goes well with another single reel from N. Connaught, "The Boy on the Hilltop": http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/1197
