Apologies if this transcription is at all 'rough'. The recording I had to transcribe from was poor quality, Jock Tamson's Bairns, but the swung triplets are real. The rhythmic variations were close to those played, and despite the quality a lot of time was given to try and get things as close to right as possible. Only a few minor variations were given, actually, maybe only one, where a bar repeated, bars 1 & 5 of the B-part...
I quite like this strathspey, but it seems I am generally inclined to favour the inspirations of Ronnie Cooper's muse, and Shetland music in general, lovely stuff...
