Gordon's Favourite

I can't disguise my love of the compositions of Ronnie Cooper, and this one is another wonderful reel. Again, I can't remember where I learned it, but I've a feeling it was from a book this time. If so, it will have been Tom Anderson's collection 'Da Mirrie Dancers' (1970). I've just had a look, and the version there is almost identical to the one I play, so I'm pretty sure I would have learned it from there.

Hey! I don't mind taking second fiddle but at least a nod would be appreciated... ;-)

Thanks are due to ceolachan for suggesting a celebration of Ronnie Cooper's compositions. I have long been a fan of his tunes, and thanks to "c" I have been able to share my enthusiasm and a couple of my favourite reels.
