Yes, here too, but he comes every week, only alternating collections. We have 'recycling' here in Lancashire, and four different bins... One week it is grey or brown with the yellow lidded bin, and the other week it is brown or grey with the red lidded bin...

While I'm happy to recommend this book and most of the output of 'Taigh na Teud', some of the tune transcriptions have problems and are best used with support ~ an instructor, a well informed friend and other resources ~ in print and recordings...

"Traditional Scottish Fiddling" ~ Page 47: Two-Step
This is a fast ballroom dance of American origin. It became popular in the 1890s and spread to Europe about 1900, and remained popular until replaced by the one-step and foxtrot shortly before World War I. The term 'two-step' was often used for the foxtrot in Europe during the 1910s. The steps, to a quick-quick-slow rhythm in each bar, were done with a gliding skip similar to that of the polka. The term also came to refer to the type of tune to which the dance was originally performed, with a characteristic skipping rhythm in 6/8 and a light, springing melody.
At ceilidh dances in the Highlands today the Military and Boston two-steps are some of the most popular dances and are mostly danced to modern two-steps such as ~ "The Dancing Dustman"...
