Scottish Reel
Excellent Scottish reel, although it's in Amix, it's easily playable on a D/G melodeon by crossing rows. I don't play many in A!
Battlefield play it on Celtic Hotel, amongst others.

This a very fine American tune.

North Carolina-SW Virginia
I am not that well versed in tunes from SW VA and NC but, this is one of the most popular tunes from that region of the Appalachians that came from Tommy Jarrell. It sounds "Scottish" like a march but I don't think it has any known Scottish variants. I'm not sure there are any recorded American variants rather than the "revivalist" versions from the 60's.
