Adam Rennie Appreciation Week ~ "Innes Russell of Perth"
Here's another of Adan Rennie's tunes, this time a strathspey.
Adam Rennie ~ man, musician, band leader and composer
"Box and Fiddle"
http://www.boxandfiddle.com/adam_rennie.htm
Come on gang, there must be more of you out there familiar with the music of Adam Rennie and his quartet, including Bobby Brown? At least Nigel was gracious enough to make contribution... Any more takers? The week is almost over...

I have another basic more in 'agreement' transcription I'll add here later, if I can find it...

Ignore that '2' that starts the 4th line of the A-part, which I'd originally transcribed with a 1st and 2nd ending...

Innes Russell Of Perth
Thanks for the transcription, ceolachan. I was going to post a transcription from a 78rpm record (which I had no title for), but your latest one is so close that there wouldn't be much point. The set on the disc is an untiled march, then "Louden's Bonnie Woods", then Innes Russell.

"Rakes of Glasgow" - yes, that's it! I've never found out what that tune was. For some reason I had it down as a march, but it's obviously a strathspey, and a three-parter at that. Thanks, ceolachan. And yes, it should be "Loudon".
