A cousin of The Humours of Ennistymon, Coppers & Brass etc. Tommy Peoples plays it on his album The Iron Man, with Daithí Sproule, and calls it The Chorus Jig.

Variation

Planxty play it a little differently, I got it from their recording (and was aided by this site in the details). Great tune!
In any case, I play the first few bars AG | FFD DAF | G E3 , and starting from the 3rd bar in the second part G3 E3 | AGA EFG which is (more or less) the way I heard Planxty play it. Just felt like telling you that because I really like that variation.

The Chorus Jig

Listen to Eddie Moloney play this jig: http://www.lafferty.ca/music/irish/flute-geezers/edmaloney5.mp3 Eddie was from Ballinakill, East Galway, where Mike Rafferty comes from.

Not in Dmaj!

And of course, Dmix is the correct key for this tune.

The Chorus Reel mistaken for the jig?

I've checked out some recordings here (Jerry O'sullivans - Invasion, Paddy in the smoke) and it seems that the chorus IS there but as a reel.

What say you?

Ofer, it just says "Recordings of a tune by this name." The link doesn't bring you directly to the tune you are looking for.

Here's a tune called "The Chorus Reel": http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/779
