Across the Divide
I learned this bewitching waltz from Mary Custy's tape "With A Little Help From Their Friends" which she put out with Eoin O'Neill. I'm fairly sure she is the composer. It's also played as a jig on the album "Buzzin'" by the Bumblebees. They make a convincing case, but I still think it shines more brightly as a slow, mysterious waltz.
If your guitarist is stymied by the B part, I reccommend starting with a G minor, then an F major/D minor sort of thing. You're on your own after that.
