Dillon Brown
I first heard this one while I was a student living in Portrush/NI. Years later I found it in a dance tune collection in a Hamburg library. I also found exactly the same in the JC tunefinder. I am aware that there are some similarities with "The Mountain Top", still I think it is a different tune. If someone knows this one under a really different title, I´d be happy to learn. The same goes for recordings.

As well as The Mountain Top, this tune has similarites with these tunes:
http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display.php/2631
http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/3235
Laington's Reel http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/1420 has 'Dillon Brown' and 'Dillon Brown's Fancy' listed as alternative titles, but the tune doesn't appear to be related to the one posted here.

BTW, for consistency's sake, the two G2s in bars 8 &12 of the O'Brien & O'Raghallaigh version should have had ~s before them.
But, because of where they fall in the tune, the rolls could just as well be omitted altogether.
Another thing - they play it together on two B whistles, so it actually sounds in E.

One more thing - they play it before Sarah Hobbs http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/1281/comments

Kevin O'Reilly writes: "Willie Clancy played this beautiful version of The Mountain Top for a collector called Chris Delaney in the early 1970s (you can get copies of his tapes from the University of North Carolina in America). Peter Laban found it in O'Neill's 1001 #527 with the name Dillon Brown. I know of two recent recordings of it - Enda Ó Catháin's fine CD Ó inné go inniú (under the title Willie Clancy's), and the McCarthy's on The Family Album."
