Another jem from the Irish musicians bible, O'Neill's. It is a tune that deserves to be heard more, it have such a beautiful melody.

I think it is amazing you don't hear this tune played anymore. After playing it I get the feeling that it would have been very popular years ago. I know it is up there as one of my favourite jigs. It is lovely to play in the slow Clare style.

thanks, what a great jig. I started learning the fiddle recently - I mean really recently - yesterday. I'm looking for simple tunes to have ago at, so this is perfect.
